Environmental bonus and innovation premium
for electric cars

Environmental bonus and innovation premium
for electric cars
Electric cards that are purchased until the end of 2022 will receive subsidies from a combination of environmental bonus and innovation premium. Plug-in hybrids that can run solely on electricity for a distance of at least 60 km without exceeded the maximum CO2 emissions of 50 grams per driven kilometer are also eligible for subsidies. Leased vehicles are not excluded from this.

The wall boxes from DIGITUS® are listed as eligible for subsidies from the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KFW subsidies). For the purchase and installation of one of our wall boxes, as long as it is not publicly accessible, you can obtain a grant of €900 per charging point.

Charging cables
Spiral or standard? First, the good news: no matter which variant of charging cable you choose, the capacity does not depend on the cable format. Depending on your personal preferences, decide on a spiral cable or a smooth charging cable for your electric car. Spiral cables are easy to stow away, there is no need to roll them up. The cables rarely hang down onto the ground during the charging process. However, their full length cannot be utilized due to their shape.
Standard charging cables can be used up to their full length and are easy to clean due to their smooth structure. Their space-saving design allows them to be laid on longer stretches without taking up much space.
